Salar Ansari, a remarkable yet humble talent, is a DJ, producer, instrumentalist, and engineer who seamlessly blends the sonic worlds of the SWANA region and the Midwest.

As a dancefloor maestro, his groove-oriented hypnotic sets captivate crowds with his skillful mixing and diverse music selection.

Recently, Ansari’s journey took him to Detroit, where he quickly gained the attention of music giants such as Resto and Underground Resistance’s Mike Banks.

Through their mentorship and support, his accomplishments have flourished, earning accolades from recording engineering with the famed Blue Note Records to winning the 2021 Detroit Music Awards for ‘Best Electronic Recording’.

To date, he has contributed to over 50 productions as an engineer, producer, and session musician while collaborating with an array of talented artists worldwide.

His original music has been released through Moozikeh Analog Room, Feeder Loft Records, and his own imprint, Passed Out On A Persian Rug.

His work delves into the intersection of analog and digital production, sonic curation, and community collaboration.

Currently, he serves as the Head Engineer at Feeder Loft and Director of Resonance at POETIC SOCIETIES.
